Start using forest resources for green development and a sustainable future.The Wood E3 Project was designed to present favourable solutions and potential possibilities for obtaining and using wood biomass in the Mediterranean area. Increased use of wood would have a positive effect both on the wood processing and energy sectors. Recently, we have noticed increasing interest in wood use even though this energy product had been poorly or incorrectly exploited in the wood processing industry and the energy sector until now due to various obstacles. Since wood biomass offers many potential advantages and opportunities we would like to provide users with the findings we have amassed throughout years of monitoring the mentioned issue, thereby helping them maximize practical use of the obtained knowledge. Read more...The Wood E3 Project is part of the MED Program co-financed by the ERDF. Its priority is to strengthen competitiveness through sustainable regional development. Wood E3 will help increase the awareness of the key target groups. It will offer them useful information and help politicians prepare and promote strategies which are in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. Priority tasks will be determined within the project, and support will be given to economists to ensure sustainable development of the economic sector.
